What’s My Background to Sports Trading and Matched Betting?
I’ve been making a second income online from Matched Betting since 2014 and developed an interest in Sports Trading from about the same time – however, it wasn’t until late 2016 that I properly began my Sports Trading journey.
I am not a professional sports trader, and don’t claim to be. However, my trading did improve quite a bit once I eventually found the tools that truly suited my style (ie, I stopped blowing my trading banks, haha!). I underestimated how difficult trading would be when I started on my journey – I think a lot of us do. You may have experienced this yourself.
Of course, my hope is that I do become a professional trader one day. But for now i’m up and down, not losing much but not gaining much either – it doesn’t sound like much but this is actually huge progress. I am continuing to work on my niches which are Over/Under 2.5 goals and Pre-Match Trading.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1920″ img_size=”300×300″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″][vc_column_text]
Why Did I Start STT?
Around 9 months into my journey I started getting frustrated at the fact there wasn’t one simple hub where I could find out about the many various Sports Trading products and services on the internet.
I had to keep doing a lot of searching around to see whether I could find out if the tools I was looking to subscribe to were worth it – or even just if they were right for what I was looking to achieve through my trading.
As such I ended up wasting a lot of time and money by just signing up to these tools and taking a chance to find out if they would work for me. In fact, the first 18 reviews listed on this site were ALL tools that I used in this period of 9 months until I settled on my favourites which gave me exactly what I was looking for.
What Is My Goal for STT?
My goal for this website is to help ensure you don’t go through the same experiences of wasting lots of time and money in your Sports Trading journey. In particular, I want to help those who are new to Sports Trading to get a jump start in finding their edge in the Betfair, Betdaq and Matchbook markets.
On STT I have reviewed every tool I have used and found beneficial to my trading. As such, the focus will be on quality over quantity on this website. I have also purchased or paid a subscription to every product I have listed on the site so you can be assured the reviews are honest and in no way influenced due to me being provided with ‘free trials’ by the product owners.
How Is the Site Structured?
STT is laid out in a way so that each sport has its own category of tools. For example, Football has its own menu with its own sub categories such as Pre-Match and In-Play. This is so you can find which tools fit what you’re looking to trade.
Horse Racing has all the tools you need to get started trading Horse Racing – such as reviews of courses and online learning resources. We also have a category for books so you can get an idea of what you’ll learn from them.
We’ll also be posting blog content that is aimed at those new to trading to help give your knowledge around the markets a boost, hopefully with some guest blogs from Professional Traders who want to share some of their tips on getting started.
For every review, there’s also some Top Tips that I’ve had to learn from my own experience – these should help you get making the most of whatever tool you invest in.
One Last Thing…
I just wanted to say thank you for supporting the site. It really means a lot!
